Woodwinds is a neighborhood in Laguna Hills, California 92653 with 261 one and two story single family detached homes. This includes a small detachment of 14 attached homes at the end of Laurel Creek Lane that is newer and has their own Home Owners Association that covers the common roofs and walls. This is really a separate community within the Woodwinds but its so small it doesn't even have a name. Unfortunately, these home have a higher HOA fee that covers the extra items that the detached homeowners take care of themselves. Shadow Run is a neighborhood of 207 larger 1 and 2 story detached single family homes built on mid to large sized lots. The neighborhood was built right after the first Starwars movie was released back in May 1977 with construction concluding in 1979. Except for a few streets, all the streets are named after girls.
New Territory is a community of 157 single family detached one and 2 story homes in central Laguna Hills located between the interstate 5 freeway on the east side and Laguna Woods on the west side. Directly to the South, we have the communities of Laguna L'Cerro Acacia Knolls and Sunset Place. Clarington Park is in the center of the neighborhood which backs up to Aliso Creek that splits the neighborhood in half with 76 homes on the north side and 81 homes on the south side.

The home design in the neighborhood is a good mix of cape cod and traditional style homes with one and 2 story plans ranging in size from a 2 bedroom, 2 bath 1,224 square foot single story town home to a 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath with 1,829 square foot two story town home. The community was built between 1982 and 1983.
