I paid a visit to the Nekter Juice Bar in Lake Forest in the shopping center located on the corner of Lake Forest Drive and Rockfield Blvd. It was early, approximately 9:00 AM Tuesday Morning, November 20th, 2018. The reason for visiting was because we wanted a healthy breakfast before heading out to look at over a dozen homes.
The review of our experience was good overall but there were a few things to watch out for if you visit. Parking was easy and it was a nice sunny morning. We found the inside clean and the staff was friendly. But it’s hard to hear while ordering because the blenders were very loud and they didn’t use the sound dampeners on the blenders. We ordered a mango açaí bowl. To our surprise there was no mango in it, so we asked them why. They said it was blended into the mix. We surmised that the mangos weren’t ripe and that is why the mix tasted bland. I wouldn’t recommend that particular bowl unless you can confirm the mangos are fresh and we will try something else tomorrow on our next visit to the Nektarjuicebar.com.
