This video tour begins at Canyon View Park. When you start at the northern most entrance most of the trail is down hill. So it’s a great place to start for new riders or hikers. The Wood Canyon Trail is the the main trail through Aliso Canyon Wilderness Park. It is a nice rolling dirt path stays close to Wood Creek.

The Aliso Creek Trail offers a multitude of side trails, each providing a unique and rewarding experience. While we primarily stayed on the main trail, we ventured onto Coyote Run, a single-track path that winds along the west side of Wood Creek. This detour allowed us to explore a more secluded section of the park, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature.

Beyond Coyote Run, the park boasts a network of side trails that lead you through diverse landscapes. Whether you’re seeking a challenging hike or a leisurely stroll, there’s a trail to suit your preferences. As you explore these side trails, you’ll be captivated by the variety of indigenous trees and plants that adorn the park. From towering oaks to delicate wildflowers, the natural beauty is truly breathtaking.
