The name was fitting because the meadow was said to be the most beautiful meadow along Aliso Creek.  The creek flows to the Pacific Ocean a mere 6 miles to the west and has a bike path you can take most of the way next to the path. Now the meadow is gone but this is still a beautiful area where the condo community is now. Most people call the neighborhood Via Lomas.
