Location

The Neighborhood Of Aliso Meadows is located on the western edge of Laguna Hills next to Aliso Creek between the Laguna Hills High School and Alicia Parkway.  The main street through the community is Via Lomas that means “Through The Most” in Spanish. The name was fitting because the meadow was said to be the most beautiful meadow along Aliso Creek.  The creek flows to the Pacific Ocean a mere 6 miles to the west and has a bike path you can take most of the way.

Now the meadow is gone but this is still a beautiful area where condo community is now. Most people call the neighborhood Via Lomas. This is because its the name of the street that runs through the community. The real name of the neighborhood is Aliso Meadows. But you wouldn’t know it because there is no community sign or street with the name Aliso Meadows.

Homes in the community range in size with the smallest floor plan being a 2 bedroom 1 bath unit with 879 square feet. And the largest floor plan in the community is a 3 bedroom 2 bath unit with 1357 square feet.
 
These per-fabricated condos built and placed in 1981 and have raised foundations. Some and have small court yards in the front and some also have small back yards. These are the most affordable Condos in Laguna Hills. Prices ranging from the low $300s to just above $400k for the larger units.

Common Areas

The HOA fee for maintenance in the community is average for the area at $330 per month. Amenities include side walks, open grass areas. This community has and a unique fossil reef designated with a plaque. Anyone can walk around the 18,000,000 year old reef and observe the ancient rocks. There is also a bike trail that runs along side Aliso Creek that goes all the way to Laguna Beach.

Shopping, Transportation, Schools, Community Centers, Hospitals and Parks

The community is close to great schools including the Laguna Hills High School and Lomarena Elementary School. The Laguna Hills Community Center and  Saddleback Medical Cneter |Hospital | MemorialCare are walking distance away.  It’s not far to the Irvine Spectrum, Laguna Beach, Aliso Town Center in Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel Regional Park in Laguna Niguel and major freeways such as Interstate 5 and the 405.
